Terms of service
Last updated: September 2026
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service apply when you use strawberryvalley.co.uk or purchase products from Strawberry Valley.
Throughout these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Strawberry Valley, and “you” refers to the person using our website or placing an order.
By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Shipping Policy.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
2. About us
Strawberry Valley is an independent UK illustration studio creating and selling original art prints and related products.
Trading name: Strawberry Valley
Email: hello@strawberryvalley.co.uk
Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform used to process orders and payments.
3. Who we sell to
We currently sell and deliver products within the United Kingdom only.
Orders requiring delivery outside the UK may be declined or cancelled and refunded.
You must be legally capable of entering into a contract to place an order through our website.
4. Our products
Our products are physical goods unless clearly stated otherwise on the relevant product page.
We make every reasonable effort to describe products accurately, including their size, materials, finish and other relevant characteristics.
Colours may appear slightly different on different screens, and minor variations can occur in printed products due to the nature of printing, paper and card stocks.
These variations do not affect your statutory right to receive goods that are as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.
Frames, accessories or display items shown in product photography are not included unless expressly stated.
5. Made-to-order products
Many Strawberry Valley products are printed after your order is placed rather than being taken from pre-produced stock.
This allows us to prepare each order specifically for the customer while keeping unnecessary stock and waste to a minimum.
Our normal production and dispatch expectations are shown on the website and in our Shipping Policy.
6. Personalised products
Some products can be personalised, for example by adding a name or selecting personalised wording.
You are responsible for checking all information entered when placing your order, including spelling, names and other personalisation details.
Because we aim to begin production quickly, changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has been submitted.
If we make an error in the personalisation, we will put it right.
Clearly personalised or bespoke products are normally excluded from the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right. This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.
7. Placing an order
When you place an order, you will receive an email acknowledging that we have received it.
Your order is subject to acceptance by us.
We may occasionally be unable to accept an order because, for example:
- a product or material is unavailable;
- there has been an obvious pricing or product-description error;
- we cannot deliver to the address supplied;
- we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity; or
- another circumstance prevents us from fulfilling the order.
If we cannot accept an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid.
8. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (GBP).
The price charged will be the price displayed at checkout when you place your order, including any qualifying promotion or automatic discount.
We may change our prices at any time, but this will not affect an order that has already been accepted.
Available payment methods are displayed during checkout. Payments are processed securely through Shopify and its payment partners.
9. Offers, multi-buy savings and promotions
From time to time we may offer multi-buy savings, bundles, promotional prices or other offers.
The eligibility and value of an offer will be shown on the website at the time of purchase.
Unless stated otherwise:
- offers apply only to qualifying products;
- offers cannot be exchanged for cash;
- discounts are calculated automatically where applicable; and
- separate promotions may not always be used together.
For voluntary change-of-mind returns involving products originally purchased as part of a multi-buy or promotional offer, we may recalculate the value of the products you keep using the offer level for which those remaining products still qualify. Any refund will then reflect that recalculated order value.
This does not limit your statutory remedies where goods are faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise fail to meet your consumer rights.
10. Delivery
We currently deliver to UK addresses only.
Current delivery costs, dispatch targets, estimated delivery times and packaging information are set out in our Shipping Policy.
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.
Once your order has been dispatched, delivery may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including postal delays, severe weather, industrial action or unusually busy periods.
Please contact us if an order has not arrived within a reasonable period so we can investigate.
Risk in the goods passes to you when you, or a person nominated by you, takes physical possession of them.
11. Damaged, faulty or incorrect orders
Please check your order after delivery.
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, incorrect or significantly different from its description, contact us as soon as reasonably possible at hello@strawberryvalley.co.uk.
Where appropriate, we will arrange a replacement, refund or other remedy in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.
Goods supplied to consumers must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.
12. Returns and refunds
In addition to your statutory rights, we currently offer an extended 100-day return policy on eligible non-personalised products. Full eligibility requirements and instructions are set out in our Refund Policy.
Personalised or bespoke products are normally excluded from change-of-mind returns.
This exclusion does not apply where a personalised product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.
Nothing in our Refund Policy or these Terms reduces any rights you have under UK consumer law.
13. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, all artwork, illustrations, designs, photographs, written content, branding, graphics and other original material appearing on this website are owned by or licensed to Strawberry Valley and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Purchasing a physical product does not transfer copyright or other intellectual-property rights in the artwork.
Products are supplied for personal use only unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
You may not reproduce, copy, scan, distribute, manufacture from, commercially exploit, resell reproductions of, or create derivative products from our artwork without our prior written permission.
14. Website use
You may use our website for lawful personal purposes.
You must not:
- interfere with or damage the operation or security of the website;
- introduce viruses, malware or other harmful code;
- attempt unauthorised access to the website or associated systems;
- scrape or systematically copy our content without permission;
- infringe our intellectual-property rights or those of another person; or
- use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, our customers or our business.
15. Accuracy of website information
We take reasonable care to keep product information, prices and availability accurate.
Occasionally, an obvious error may occur. If we discover an error affecting an order, we will contact you and either correct the issue with your agreement or cancel the affected order and refund you.
We may update products, prices, descriptions and website content from time to time.
16. Third-party services and links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or use services provided by third parties, including Shopify and payment providers.
Those third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the content or operation of independent third-party websites that we do not control.
17. Personal information
How we collect, use and protect personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Please ensure the Privacy Policy link on this page points to:

18. Our responsibility to you
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
- your statutory consumer rights.
If you are purchasing as a consumer, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breaching these Terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.
Our products are supplied primarily for private and personal use. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for business losses such as loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity or commercial interruption arising from consumer use of our products.
19. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where such an event affects your order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the impact and keep you informed where appropriate.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
20. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally to reflect changes to our products, business practices, website or legal obligations.
The version applying to your purchase will be the version in force when you place your order.
The latest version will always be available on this page.
21. If part of these Terms is invalid
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
22. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live and may have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your part of the UK.
